This post presents the opportunity to be the sector lead, managing and influencing a team within the Qualifications directorate in delivering core strategic priorities to ensure work is prioritised and delivered in line with business and operational plans.
The Post holder will oversee and support a team across multiple examination series, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of outcomes of key technical processes including the development, monitoring and review of processes leading to the accurate and timely delivery of question papers, moderation, standardising and awarding. In addition to managing a team with responsibility for a suite of qualifications the post holder will also be responsible for supporting officers with contract management and contract renewals as well as managing the annual performance management scheme for senior examiners.
