Compass Associates are working with a valued client who has an opportunity for a Deputy Home Manager in Stirling. Our National Care client requires a Deputy Home Manager with a valid Pin number, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice.
The Candidate
As Deputy Home Manager, you will be working alongside the Home Manager to ensure the level of clinical care offered is exemplary. The home provides residents with general nursing, dementia care, and respite care for both long-term and short-term stays.
You will provide specialist nursing support and advice to the clinical team and take responsibility for the care home in the Manager's absence, supervising and coaching colleagues to ensure the care home continues to exceed CQC expectations and standards.
We are looking for someone with a background in person-centred care planning within a care home. Beyond that, it's all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
You will be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. You will ensure the level of clinical care offered goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Your responsibilities will include providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Requirements
1. NMC registration with no limitations to practice.
2. Passion for high-quality patient care.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work as part of a team.
5. Previous experience working at a supervisory level within a care home environment.
Salary & Benefits
This is a permanent position working 33 hours per week, days only, with 115 supernumerary hours.
