SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Birmingham (B4) who are looking for a Head of Commercial Partnerships and SRM to join the team.
Salary: £90,000 - £95,000

Main Responsibilities and Key Activities
Commercial Partnerships
1. Create and develop a commercial strategy that brings together the multiple partnership offerings into a coherent proposition.
2. Manage and drive partnership sales activity according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth and income.
3. Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.).
4. Ensure high standards of business development by reviewing and updating the acquisition plan of all partner categories to ensure growth by sector and region as required.
5. Ensure high levels of engagement with all partners and ensure agreed benefits are delivered consistently and to agreed quality service levels.
6. Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams as necessary (marketing, inward investment, tourism and other workstreams etc.).
7. Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
8. Work with the Finance and Commercial Director to set target and budgets for the year for the Commercial Partnerships.
9. Lead and inspire the team, set clear direction and accountability, ensure high performance, create a culture of continuous personal development.
SRM
1. Oversee a direct report SRM delivery team as well as having 'dotted line' functional oversight of the SRM relationships delivered by the Investment Sector Team and Partners West Midlands partnership programme.
2. Lead the further development and refinement of SRM systems and processes, working closely with colleagues in the BI/CRM team.
3. Be accountable for the delivery of agreed service levels, collaborating with colleagues and harnessing the CRM system to monitor and report measures.
4. Oversee the collection and dissemination of high value business insight, working with Business Intelligence and Communications colleagues.
5. Provide operational oversight of the PWM engagement programme, ensuring alignment with the wider SRM programme.
6. Manage the partnership with the Department of Business & Trade to achieve agreed service levels.
7. Set clear business and personal objectives for direct reports and ensure they take ownership/accountability for their own personal development plans.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as commercial director/head of commercial or other relevant role.
2. Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key partners.
3. In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
4. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
5. Professional qualification or relevant degree, or equivalent experience in private or public sectors.
6. Proven track record of securing six-figure sum Corporate Partnerships.
7. Experience of developing complex corporate partnerships comprising multiple budgets, deliverables/activations and key contacts.
8. Excellent written, presentation and pitching skills.
9. Strong networker and influencer with a passion for building partner relationships at all levels.
10. Demonstrable experience of developing an SRM function within a business.
11. Private Sector experience, ideally aligned to at least one of the five strategic sector groups.
12. Experience of developing and leading successful, delivery-focused teams.
13. Experience of working with multiple external stakeholders.
