Position Summary
As a pivotal member of our management team, you will embody the essence of Layered Reality, spending a majority of your time in guest facing areas. This dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, ensuring every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Your primary responsibilities include duty management of live operations and equipping our teams with the tools they need to excel in their roles and consistently deliver excellent customer service. You will play a vital role in driving sales across the venue, motivating the team to effectively upsell products and continually enhance the overall guest experience.

Scope & Responsibilities
Team Management
Facilitate onboarding and training of new team members.
Coordinate team schedules for optimal productivity.
Provide ongoing coaching to FOH staff for exceptional service.
Drive secondary spend initiatives in the venue.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
Lead sales, events, and in-house promotions.
Duty Management
Oversee FOH opening/closing and LR Portal tasks.
Coordinate radio communication between departments.
Respond to escalations with quick guest resolution.
Manage box office administration efficiently.
Cover Ops1 duties as needed.
Compile daily show reports and sales reports.
Drive daily sales and guest satisfaction.
Stock & Ordering
Manage F&B, merchandise, and photo supplies inventory.
Conduct regular stock taking and record-keeping.
Supervise bar restocking and line cleaning.
Strong Bar Experience is required.
Photo & Merchandise
Develop merchandise planograms for optimal sales.
Ensure compliance with IP standards for all products.
Generate new merchandise ideas for approval.

Background Experience
You will be a highly self-motivated, service focused individual, with a wide variety of management experience working across the events & hospitality industries. Previous experience managing FOH & Bar departments in hospitality, theatre, events, entertainment or visitor attractions is preferable.

Experience working with and managing EPOS systems.
The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Excellent presentation skills, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills to address customer and operational challenges.
Passionate about the hospitality industry with a strong knowledge of food & beverage operations.
Mixologist experience, with the ability to create new menu content.
Skillset to train and mentor FOH and Bar team members.
Confidence in working as part of a team and independently.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
