About
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in security systems? Do you thrive in a field-based sales role, building relationships and closing deals with commercial end-users?
Our client – a well-established fire and security installation company based in Yorkshire – is looking to recruit a driven and knowledgeable BDM to help grow their footprint across the region.
The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities across Yorkshire and surrounding areas, selling fire and security solutions including:
* CCTV
* Access Control
* Intruder Alarms
* Door Entry Systems
You’ll be working closely with clients to understand their needs, carry out site surveys, and design tailored solutions to present back to them. From initial contact to quote preparation and securing the order – you’ll own the full sales cycle.
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the security industry
* Strong product knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder, and door entry systems
* Ability to carry out site surveys and produce basic system designs
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated and confident working in a field-based, target-driven role
* Full UK driving licence
