Learning & Development Trainer
Location: Hybrid working, Worthing
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs
Salary: Up to £39,500 based on experience
Southern Water are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Learning &Development Trainer to join our L&D team. This role designs and delivers the standard of learning & development interventions, processes, and systems to enable Southern Water to achieve its vision. It will influence, challenge, and drive the achievement of business strategy and plans by enabling people to feel connected, informed and motivated about their role, achieve success and facilitate high performance by delivering a wide range and scope of leadership and management development interventions.
As part of this role you will:
1. Embed the L&D tactical initiatives, action plans and processes within the business, which support the business’s objectives and key results. Build effective, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and People Partners to implement tactical interventions for learning & development.
2. Be responsible for designing and delivering business-wide learning interventions for learning & development (excluding leadership development), including onboarding, induction, mandatory training, business behavioural training and key processes.
3. Be responsible for the L&D onboarding process, liaising with the Talent Acquisition team and People Hub to ensure a smooth welcome to new starters.
4. Provide coaching to employees to empower them to develop and improve their performance and/or behaviours.
5. Be responsible for learning needs analysis across learning & development; providing measures of success, evaluation, insights, and reporting.

11. Skilled in content design and facilitation
12. Is ready and able to take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made
13. Brilliant collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
14. Knowledge of current thinking in HR issues and evidence of CPD
15. Have experience of designing, implementing, and managing learning & development activities.
