This position is set to begin immediately after the February half-term break. Initially, it will be a day-to-day supply role; however, there is potential for it to transition into a long-term position. The role involves teaching Physical Education (PE) to students across both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that align with the national curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for sports, the ability to inspire students, and excellent classroom management skills.
Job Role for the PE Teacher Role:
Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) aligned with the National Curriculum.
Ensure excellent subject knowledge and effective behaviour management strategies.
Plan and assess students' progress, adapting lessons as necessary.
Foster a positive learning environment in line with school policies.
Work collaboratively with staff and students to promote physical education.
Required Skills and Experience for the PE Teacher Role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Experience teaching PE in a Secondary School setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
Passion for inspiring young people and encouraging participation in physical activity.
Commitment to making a positive impact within the school community.
Working as a PE Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
