They are recruiting a MEICA Process Engineer to join a new and exciting project within the business. The MEICA Process Engineer will be supporting in the development and delivery of Augean’s brand new Ash Washing programme, working widely across the whole business unit.
The business critical MEICA Process Engineer role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000 – £70,000 dependant on experience, a car allowance and competitive benefits package. It will require flexibility to travel widely across Augean’s remit of sites.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Group Technical & Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for:
* The day-to-day management of the Ash Washing project, driving development and delivery of the brand-new process across the Augean group.
* Leading the project teams throughout its lifecycle, including key subcontractor selection and management.
* Manage all mechanical and electrical engineering requirements across the project. This will include overseeing the procurement, installation and maintenance of the systems as well as the construction of the site infrastructure and implementation of key processes.
* Provide effective technical support to project teams and clients, providing solutions to troubleshoot and resolve any process optimisation issues.
* Manage change control in the form of Early Warning Notices (EWN) and Compensation Events (CEN), providing updates to senior teams across the project.
* Embed a strong health and safety culture across all project activities, supporting Augean’s company values and key behaviours.
* Ensure that compliance is maintained in line with industry standards, permits and site regulations.
* Travel between sites within the UK to manage various sub-programmes within the overall project, including potential significant periods working away.
* Conduct feasibility studies and develop project specifications, updating the project programme throughout its lifecycle.
* Any other reasonable duties as and when required.
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Technical Engineering qualification to degree level in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical related subjects.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting in the delivery of capital expenditure projects (CAPEX).
* Strong knowledge of process optimisation and planning across chemical, process or construction projects.
* Strong knowledge and industry experience within the Waste Management, Energy from Waste or Chemical Processing sectors.
* Experience in Project Management and Contractor Management with a proven project management qualification - desirable.
* Full UK driving licence.
