A warm and inclusive school in Maidenhead is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team in Year 1. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include providing 1:1 and small group support, assisting with classroom tasks, and helping to create a dynamic learning environment tailored to meet the individual needs of each child. Responsibilities: Provide support to students with SEN in Year 1. Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies. Contribute to the development of an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Assist with maintaining classroom order and supporting positive behaviour. Requirements: ✔️ Previous experience working with children with SEN. ✔️ Relevant qualifications or a willingness to pursue further training. ✔️ Compassion, patience, and a proactive mindset. ✔️Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection. ✔️ Right to work in the UK. ✔️DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new DBS.
