Real Estate Finance - Associate VP / Manager

Carlyle Europe Realty (CER) is seeking a Finance Associate VP / Manager to be based in its London or Luxembourg office. He/she will work closely with the Investment and Asset Management (AM) teams focused on the European Real Estate investments.
This is an opportunity for an individual to join a young and dynamic Real Estate team, and be part of a scaling business.
Primary Responsibilities
* Financial Accounting & Tax Compliance – Oversee external accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Participate in tax structuring discussions and oversee tax structuring implementation, in coordination with local tax lead.
* Asset Management Support – Support our investment and AM teams by monitoring cash-flow projections, covenant compliance, advising on distributions, and optimization of finance processes in portfolio companies.
* Fund Reporting – Coordinate and review internal portfolio valuations.
* Acquisition Support – Assist in investment structuring, cash flow funding, and onboarding of new deals while liaising with tax, legal, lenders and JV partners.
* Corporate Governance & Compliance – Coordinate corporate structuring, legal documentation, and board approvals while ensuring adherence to Carlyle policies.
Role Requirements
Education & Certificates
* Degree in Business Administration or similar qualification.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills; advanced knowledge of Excel required.
Professional Experience
* 6-8 years' professional experience, in an investment environment or accounting firm, with preferably a minimum of 2 years in a manager/ fund controller position.
* Fluent in English and French is required; Spanish will be considered an advantage.
* Dynamic individual with high energy and a professional attitude.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, flexibility and a collaborative attitude are essential.
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
* Pro-active attitude to their work and ability to work autonomously in an international organization.
