We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Practice Manager to joinour well established friendly Practice. We are located in Potters Bar and close to all facilitiesand amenities.
Our Practice team consists of 3 Partners, 3 salaried GP, GPtrainees plus a full range of multidisciplinary professionals, who are supported by a strong admin and secretarial team. We are looking for someone that is able to fit in well with our Practice ethos of good patientcare and teamwork.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the practice manager and learn all aspect of the practice management role. This includes a range of duties relating to the management of practice staff, patient management and maintenance.
The Assistant Practice Manager will be oversee the day to day running of the clinical services and administration of the practice.

Job responsibilities
The Assistant practice manager will be responsible for the production of performance and quality standards within the practice. To manage data quality issues, providing advice and guidance to all practice staff in the use of the clinical system. To oversee the claims process for work undertaken as part of enhanced national or local services.
To act as practice administrator for the clinical system and as practice co-ordinator for IT hardware issues, working closely with the ICB and Shared Services as responsibility for computer hardware is transferred to the ICB. To be knowledgeable of CQC compliances.
