The centre - Kilsyth
Guardian Kilsyth is an 88 placed Centre with 6 rooms. With a bus stop at the door, our Kilsyth long day care Centre is easy to access via public transport. Families can also use the onsite, undercover car park for added convenience. We’re a short drive to Kilsyth Primary School, Gladesville Primary School and Ruskin Park Primary School. Children experience an exciting program, where they learn through play. At our Kilsyth childcare, we ensure children always have opportunities to engage their natural curiosity. From the way we read stories, to the fun educational resources that fill our rooms, we aim to inspire awe and curiosity in everything we do.
The Opportunity
* Develop a seasonal, nutritious menu that respects individual requirements regarding medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural considerations and ensures children's health and wellbeing.
* Ensure children's health and wellbeing.
* Build strong relationships with the children, Educators, families and the Centre community.
* Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld.
To be considered, you will have:
* Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards is desirable.
* Experience in childcare kitchen is desirable.
* Experience in cooking for dietary, cultural and allergy needs.
* An awareness of your personal responsibilities under the current Child Protection Laws.
* Ability to work full time/5 days (Monday to Friday).
* Current Working with Children's Check (WWCC for VIC state).
