Job Description The People Advisor will take an active role in all generalist areas of HR including the employee lifecycle, employee relations, learning and development and other ad hoc projects. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Provide advice on first line queries from employees and managers as they come into the People Team and lead on resolving them; Build exposure and working relationships with people around the business; Support and advise People Partners on a range of areas within their client groups; Work with People Partners from start to finish on employee relations matters and lead where possible Support client groups and Recruitment team as needed to deliver recruitment campaigns Prepare and issue employment contracts and contract variation letters; Maintain HRIS and ensure accuracy of employee data for client groups; Organise new hire induction schedules and onboarding processes, including and delivering Company orientation presentations; Support managers with the effective onboarding of their team members; Coordinate the probation review process, conducting mid-probation meetings and providing feedback to managers and People Partner Support managers on performance issues identified through the probation process, advising on extension and capability processes; Identify training needs and support L&D initiatives, including the delivering of internal training initiatives e.g. lunch and learns Identify appropriate and engaging learning materials through wider L&D programme where required; Support wider People Partner team with Peakon and other engagement related projects; Identify areas for improvement and work with the rest of the People Team to implement any changes required; Coordinate offboarding processes, including completing exit interviews and provide feedback to manager and People Partner; Keep up to date with employment law and regulation changes; Work with the rest of the People Team on delivering the annual People Plan; Manage a client group, ensuring you build relationships with everyone in that client group and deal with any issues that arise; Attend weekly client group meeting and provide People team updates Draft and send HR internal communications THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED Experience of working within the Music Agent business or other Talent client industries Strong computer literacy, with experience using MS office; Intermediate level Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills a must; Experience with using HR systems, ideally Workday; Super attention to detail with the ability to maintain an excellent level of accuracy and manage a high workload; “Can-do” attitude with ability to work on own initiative and happy to step outside your role where necessary; Excellent communication both verbal and written with great interpersonal skills; Confident in gathering facts and figures and have experience of making recommendations based on independent research and analysis; Ability to challenge and influence people and managers; Keen to learn, develop and build their generalist knowledge; Ability to identify and implement process improvements and a thirst for improvement; Flexible and adaptable to new ways of working; Starter finisher working style.
