This role is to provide cover as a Business Support Officer responsible for supporting the council's ERP system, Unit, with a particular focus on advice, training delivery, and maintaining the hierarchy. The ideal candidate will have a background in Unit or other similar roles and experience. If you have experience in hierarchy maintenance, supporting end users, and/or designing and delivering training and support to all levels of staff, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities
* Maintain the Hierarchy within Unit
* Provide advice and support for Unit transactional processes, including pay data and requisitioning.
* Support system maintenance updates and investigate/troubleshoot errors that may arise relating to the hierarchy.
This role would suit someone with IT experience in ERP applications and knowledge of Microsoft Office. The role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way. A pro-active and positive attitude with the ability to manage priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment is key.
An understanding of finance and payroll processes is vital to support team members in creating a positive and effective working environment and maintaining customer relationships. Proven experience in analysing and documenting complex business processes to ensure procedures are effective and completed successfully is also required.
