A friendly and warm family of 6 in Leamington Spa, are seeking a long-term Nanny/Housekeeper, to help care for their 4 creative and active young girls, aged 11, 10, 8 and 7. The girls enjoy a diverse range of after school activities, including Girlguiding, Brownies, Rainbows, swimming and tennis. They all have a love for learning and for exploring the natural world and would benefit from a Nanny with an educational background who understands their growing needs, who can support their learning and development, including homework after school.
The family require 40 hours/week, with longer split shift hours during term time, offering the Nanny 3 hours of free time during school hours. During school holidays, the breakdown may differ, offering later starts, and an earlier finish.
The ideal candidate will be creative, dedicated and calm, preferably bringing an educational background to help further the girls’ learning going forward. Understanding of sibling relationships would be beneficial within this role, to help them in their different stages. The family follow a firm but fair approach, nurturing the girls’ development, whilst maintaining boundaries. They see the benefits of providing a structure for the girls. The nanny would need to be an effective communicator and good team player in order to work alongside the family harmoniously.
