The Corporate Client Administration Team Leader is responsible for managing the administration of group risk and healthcare policies, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and accurate operation of these services. This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality service to clients, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role also requires close collaboration with other key benefits teams, including Group Pensions, Workplace Advice, and Auto-Enrolment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, solution-oriented, and focused on driving a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership Lead and manage the Group Risk & Healthcare Team, setting clear objectives, coaching, and developing team members to ensure high levels of performance and service delivery. Promote a collaborative, positive working environment where team members are encouraged to adopt best practices and take ownership of their work. Foster a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with the company’s goals and values. Administration of Group Risk & Healthcare Policies Oversee the administration of group risk (e.g., life assurance, critical illness) and healthcare policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service to clients. Manage all aspects of policy renewals, claims, and updates, working with insurers and brokers to deliver seamless service. Ensure the team follows best-in-class processes to achieve operational excellence and meet client expectations. Solution-Oriented Leadership Act as a problem solver within the team, identifying issues early and implementing practical, effective solutions to maintain service standards. Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall service quality for clients. Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with the Group Pensions, Workplace Advice, and Auto-Enrolment teams to provide integrated employee benefits solutions. Ensure the effective coordination of services across departments, maintaining strong internal relationships to meet shared goals. Client and Insurer Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. Act as the key point of escalation for complex client issues, resolving them quickly and effectively. Compliance and Reporting Ensure all processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including FCA regulations and internal policies. Generate regular reports on team performance, service levels, and key metrics for review by the Head of Operations. Job Requirements Extensive experience in corporate benefits administration, particularly in group risk and healthcare insurance. Experience managing teams and driving performance in a high-pressure, client-facing environment. Proven track record in implementing process improvements and enhancing service delivery within a team. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CII qualifications in Group Risk, Healthcare Benefits) are desirable but not essential.
