Assisting in PQQ submissions where required. Assessment of tender documentation. Co-ordination of detailed enquiries/ assessment of quotations. Preparation of pricing schedules/ bill of quantities where required. Detailed estimating of projects. Delivery of estimate and proposals for sum-up leading to tender submissions. Post tender involvement on successful projects in association with Contract Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors along with liaison/ negotiation with clients and also clients representatives. Procurement, in relation to site requirements and sub-contractors. Negotiation with sub-contractors regarding Payments and Final Accounts. Good record keeping for reference points on subsequent related projects. Follow up establishing competition and their levels of submission for record purposes. To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO & 45001 Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holders competence. Skills and Qualifications We are specifically in search of an individual with: Experience in Estimating/ Quantity Surveying. Proficient in using Microsoft office suites. Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. A proactive and organised approach with ability to work to strict deadlines within a fast and dynamic environment. Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills. Have a Degree/ HND in Quantity Surveying or another Construction Related Speciality. (Graduates will be considered) Clean Driving License and access to their own vehicle.
