Candidate will be home based. Willingness to travel across UK to client sites is a prerequisite. We are looking for a Lead Auditor who is ideally located in the Midlands or the North.
Lead the audit team in performing audits/assessment related to DNV protocols and international standards according to the established DNV methodologies & ISO 17021-1:2015; holder of Lead Auditor qualifications.
The main areas of responsibility are:
1. Promptly contact customers to confirm the planned activities,
2. Carry out in an efficient and competent manner the work for DNV as required by instructions/ DNV Management System (DMS) and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV,
3. Ensure that the independent nature of DNV is not compromised at any time,
4. Maintain or acquire their Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration that has been a basis for their acceptance as a Lead Auditor within DNV,
5. Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow-up when necessary, within agreed timescales and economic frameworks,
6. Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas.
7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel,
8. Maintain high morale by contributing to an effective positive work environment.
9. Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through the professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting,
10. Maintain effective communication with line management, audit team members, and client stakeholders. Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data, to allow proper issue and management of certificates.
