Administrative Assistant Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £16.50 Location: Chessington Job Type: Temporary (Approximately 12 weeks) My client are seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to support our manufacturing company based in Chessington. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in customer service and can efficiently manage a backlog of work. The successful candidate will be joining a small, dedicated team and will play a crucial role in liaising with customers to ensure smooth operations. Day-to-day of the role: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and support. Manage and respond to customer emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner. Update and maintain customer records in the company database. Assist with the processing of orders and tracking of deliveries. Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation. Help manage the backlog of work, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and company objectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
