Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading national health care organisation to recruit an AP & Payroll Manager based in Milton Keynes corporate office who will be required to be on site full time. It is a very exciting time to join this well-established, market-leading organisation as they build their finance team following the appointment of a new CFO and Financial Controller. As the AP & Payroll Manager you will play a pivotal part in supporting the businesses finance function, ensuring the effectiveness of the accounts payable and payroll tasks. The job holder manages, processes and troubleshoots supplier accounts within the organisation as well as manage payroll and pensions for the employees of the business.
Responsibilities
1. To manage the purchase ledger function and process payables invoices accurately including posting and reconciling transactions daily.
2. To manage any invoice queries that arise and ensure all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
3. Checking all purchase orders have been completed on a timely basis. In order to do this, must manage good relationships with the business stakeholders and depo managers, ensuring POs are chased and marked as completed once delivery has been made.
4. Ensuring the creditor's ledger is kept up-to-date and reconciled to supplier statements.
5. To prepare and run supplier payments, uploading of payments for approval and processing accordingly.
6. To accurately prepare payment schedules and send remittance advices to creditors.
7. To manage the accounts payable inbox.
Location
The Corporate offices are based in Milton Keynes and you will be required to work on site full time.
