Shift Electrician
Nottingham
Salary: £39.5k + Overtime
Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is actively looking for a Shift Electrician at their site in Nottingham.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
2. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments before commencing any work or tasks, ensuring safety and compliance.
3. Accurately complete all required logs and job sheets in a timely manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area upon the completion of any job or task.
5. Install and maintain both new and existing equipment with minimal disruption to production.
6. Collaborate with other mechanical and operational departments as needed.
7. Support the Maintenance Team by covering shifts during holidays, sickness, or when business needs arise.
8. Provide on-call support as required by the business.
9. Assist with any additional duties as directed by Management or site leadership.
10. Ensure all work is performed to a high standard, adhering to the Company's Health and Safety guidelines to safeguard yourself and others.

Education and Qualifications:
1. Recognized Electrician Apprenticeship/Qualification (Essential)
Knowledge:
1. Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices (Essential)
Relevant Experience:
1. Extensive electrical experience in a continuous process environment (Essential)
2. Proven experience in fault finding (Essential)
3. Prior experience handling electrical/mechanical breakdowns (Essential)
Skills and Competencies:
1. Proficiency in basic PLC logic and inverter drives (Essential)
2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (Essential)

1. Ability to work independently and as part of a team (Essential)
