An experienced and reputable M&E business is seeking a Divisional Managing Director to take the business forward and to help grow it to the next stage. The Managing Director will need to have a M&E background in senior level management, with minimum 10 years of M&E industry experience. In addition, the Managing Director will be commercially astute with experience in dealing with JCT contracts, have an understanding of financial management, wider managerial principles and strong negotiation skills. Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged Key Responsibilities: Develop the business organic growth strategy to ensure the company has a compelling proposition for both customers and team members Communicate the business vision, values, plans and priorities to the entire organisation Prepare an overall budget and annual company goals to align the leadership and to ensure a high level of performance accountability Transform company focus on sales & marketing & winning new business Improve commercial rigour when it comes to agreeing contractual elements and ensuring delivery of right processes Ensure operational execution is tightly controlled to maximise profitability Establish and maintain effective formal and informal relationships with key stakeholders to the business Be accountable for the delivery of the annual business budget and plans Lead, manage & hold accountable the management team Work on cross group collaboration initiatives & support & input to the groups ongoing development Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations Champion the development of new systems and processes to continuously improve the organisational efficiency, effectiveness and scalability Knowledge, skills and qualifications: Essential: A proven record of success in senior-level general or commercial management, within the M&E sector A wide knowledge of the industry with a minimum of 10 years’ experience An understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques including the benefit of systems and process to create a scalable model Is hands-on with a can-do approach, have integrity and Commercially aware and have experience with JCT contracts Strong track record of negotiation and contractual management Have excellent leadership, communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills Desirable: Have new build residential & commercial M&E experience Salary: £80,000 - £95,000 Benefit: annual bonus, uncapped profit share, car allowance, competitive holiday allowance, growth opportunities, development plan
