The opportunity
Our Forensic & Integrity Services team is growing, and as a Disputes Manager you’ll play a key role in that growth. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across all industries, you’ll develop quality solutions for some of the most challenging dispute cases. You can expect to handle a range of work including commercial disputes, transaction disputes, accounts, expert determinations, and claims - providing a great environment to develop your skills. You will also work with a diverse team, from graduates to senior experts experienced in various dispute resolution forums including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.
Your key responsibilities
You’ll balance tasks between liaising with clients and legal teams to understand needs and analyzing complex data and evidence. Your technical skills will be vital in assessing and resolving clients’ issues creatively and effectively, encouraging teamwork and innovative thinking.
Skills and attributes for success
Knowledge and experience in the following are desirable:
* Strong technical accounting knowledge; statutory auditing experience preferred but not essential.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Experience liaising with clients, legal teams, witnesses, and regulators.
* Understanding of valuation and finance concepts, financial modeling.
* Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret financial and non-financial data.
* Ability to analyze case strengths and weaknesses, formulate scenarios, and advise strategically.
* Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Experience in preparing expert reports and understanding dispute resolution mechanisms.
* Business development skills and professional networking.
Minimum qualifications
* Degree in any subject with a strong academic record.
* Professional accountancy or similar qualification.
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Strong report writing skills in English.
* General business understanding and interest in law.
