SEN Teaching Assistant – BL4

About the Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: BL4 (Bolton)
Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience).
Start Date: Immediate start available.
Contract Type: Full-time, term-time only, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Assisting with classroom activities to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
Supporting students with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to implement tailored strategies for each student.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
A compassionate and patient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs (e.g., SEN Teaching Assistant, Care Assistant, Support Worker).
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
