The Role: Data driven insights is one of Landsec’s key strategic differentiators and we are embarking on the start of a data-led journey. As the Head of Data and AI Analytics (D&A) you will be responsible for the management of Landsec data and analytics assets to drive value for business stakeholders. This includes the creation and management of a data and analytics strategy, and the execution of related programs and practices that drive measurable business outcomes. This role involves establishing, leading and operating the D&A function; developing talent and culture; building trust; managing data and evolving technology capabilities. Salary: Competitive The Team: As the Head of Data and AI Analytics (D&A) you will be responsible for the management of Landsec data and analytics assets to drive value for business stakeholders. What you will be responsible for: Maintain authority and accountability for exploiting the value of enterprise information assets, and of the analytics used to render insights for decision making, automated decisions and augmentation of human performance. Leadership of the of the D&A team, that comprises of data visualisation analysts, data architect, data operations and integration engineers. The team work within in cross functional squads with other business data analysts. Build partnerships with senior leaders across business areas – Lifestyle, Workplace and Group Enabling, to establish the vision for managing data as a business asset to exploit data and analytics capabilities to maximise the value derived from data assets. Define data and analytics vision, strategy and associated practices. Lead the creation and ongoing relevance of the organisation’s data and analytics strategy in collaboration with the CDTO and Head of Strategy & Architecture. Institute an enterprise operating model for data and analytics that is consistent with the capabilities and competencies required to execute the strategy. Foster the creation of a data-driven culture, related competencies and data literacy across the enterprise. Lead these transformation efforts by developing D&A talent and maturing the capability of the organisation. Oversee delivery models, methods and practices for creation of data products and to ensure consistent application and use of data and analytics solutions. Establish and maintain trust in data assets by instituting governance mechanisms for data and algorithms used for analysis, analytical applications and automated decision making. Your skills, experience and qualifications: Essential criteria Leadership experience within multidisciplinary environments and enterprise-wide data and analytics programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts. Experience of leading data teams covering matrix managed, cross functional teams of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers and dataops. Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards. Experience in working with the following technology stack, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure ML, Azure Open AI, Azure IOT Hub, Cognitive Services, and Boomi. Knowledge of agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban) and continuous deployment and integration practices. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus; or equivalent related experience.
