The Apex centre is an offsite provision based in Minehead, providing support and therapeutic intervention to vulnerable students from across the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust. Catering for students aged 5-16 and set in its own 22-acre site with a small-holding, gardens, and Forest school.
Lead Teacher at the APEX Centre

Commencing September 2025
We are seeking to appoint a Lead Teacher to support the Head of the APEX Centre the oversight of bespoke personalised student provision, coordinating the core subject offer at Apex West.
The successful candidate will coordinate student core and option subject provision, organising and teaching some core and option sessions both on site and online, and oversee the online teaching offer as part of the core offer. You will also be required to deputise in the Head of centres absence.
Please note, although we are ideally looking for a full-time colleague, we are open to discussing flexible working options.
