Initial Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have served or be serving in a Home Office Police Force or Police Scotland Transferee applicants must be substantive in rank having completed the full probationary period Re-joiners must have been substantive in rank and apply within five years of leaving their previous Force Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least three consecutive years prior to application Applicants must not be currently subject to any unsatisfactory performance reviews or live warnings.We are unable to vet someone who is currently under investigation at their current Force therefore we would ask you to apply to BTP once the matter is resolved Applicants with an active CCJ, unmanaged IVA, or those currently bankrupt cannot apply. We do not accept applications from individuals who have been dismissed from another force. Please note: Re-joiners may require additional training or an extended induction on joining. Role-Specific Eligibility Criteria: Applicants for our outer London vacancies must be response driver qualified or hold a valid UK driving licence.
