Job Description Finance Analyst - Systems & Data Full-time Derby/Hybrid – 3 days on-site What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member in the Forecasting Team. The Forecasting Team is a new team within the Financial Controller organisation in Civil. This unique and broad role gives the holder the opportunity to understand the financials of the Commercial Aviation Value Streams and work with a wide range of people. You will be a key player in managing the systems and tools we use across the forecasting process and ensure we have data integrity throughout the process. This role will require an advanced excel skillset to ensure our tools and models are fit for use as well as good knowledge of VBM/HFM to ensure our forecasts map correctly across the different financial statements. A process improvement mindset in all that we do is also critical to explore how we can improve/standardise our models/tools and ensure we are providing a robust and efficient process. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Manage the forecasting models / tools to ensure we process robust and accurate information into VBM. Have a finance background in order to correctly map Income Statement, Cashflow, Balance Sheet, Working Capital accounts in our models that will flow through correctly to VBM. Manage the loading process of our forecasting model into the VBM team ensuring the data we have processed is reconciled in the executive system. Have advanced excel and VBM/HFM retrieve skills in order to manage / build executive reporting tools to help the teams review their forecasts. Produce additional reports (Income Statement, Cashflow, Balance Sheet, Operating Costs) that will enable the teams to further understand their numbers and movements (forecast to forecast, Year on Year). Support any adhoc analysis required from our models/tools/VBM. Understand governance across our processes and support compliance to policies and controls. Why Rolls-Royce?
