As one of the top building, repairs, and maintenance contractors in the region, they employ around 500 people and have an impressive £50m turnover – with ambitious plans for further growth. The Role We are looking for skilled Joiners to carry out a mix of domestic and commercial work, including maintenance, repairs, and new construction projects. The role involves: Responsive & routine maintenance – Carrying out high-quality joinery repairs. 1st, 2nd & 3rd fix joinery – Working on a variety of construction projects. Customer interaction – Discussing requirements and ensuring a professional service. Working to specifications – Following drawings and work sheets accurately. Mobile working – Moving between different job sites with minimal supervision. On-call participation – Being part of the company’s out-of-hours response team - £700 per week Mentoring apprentices – Supporting trainees in developing their skills. Admin tasks – Completing necessary paperwork accurately. Driving company vehicles – Ensuring safe and responsible driving. Experience & Requirements Joinery expertise – Strong background in 1st & 2nd fix work, repairs & maintenance. Kitchen fitting – Ability to fit kitchens to a high standard. Qualifications – Minimum NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery (proof required). Apprenticeship served – At least 2 years’ experience post-apprenticeship. Tools & Equipment – Own hand tools required; all power tools provided. Full UK driving licence – Essential for the role. CSCS Card – Desirable but not essential.
