About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join our manufacturing Finance team. In this role you will have responsibility for multiple sites, including Wakefield, Flaxby, Grimsby, with Hilmore House serving as your primary hub.
We're looking for a Finance Manager with a manufacturing background who has great communication skills and team management skills. Who is able to build good relationships with operations and not afraid to challenge.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities
1. Preparation of weekly accounts and KPI's, supporting the site in understanding and explaining performance.
2. Preparing budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances.
3. Senior member of the site leadership team, with site leadership responsibilities.
4. Collaborative work with the Commercial Retail Finance teams to evaluate new ranges and product costs.
5. Identify new opportunities to extend range and volume opportunities across the divisions.
6. Implement Cost Control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation across the manufacturing processes.
7. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insights and improve operational performance.
8. Ensuring financial controls are robust, in line with Morrison's process and fit for purpose.
9. Play a vital role in the wider manufacturing Finance team and divisional Manufacturing team.
About You
1. Proven track record in a similar role.
2. Ability to influence key decision makers at all levels.
3. People management and leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
