Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Import Operator (Mandarin Speaking) for one of our clients based in Witham.
An opportunity to work within our client's growing deep sea import team. The main purpose of the role is to work within the busy import LCL department.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Arranging air, sea and road import bookings
2. Dealing with overseas offices and partners
3. Working start to finish on files
4. Processing sales and purchases
5. Quoting UK clients for LCL
6. Quoting and managing shipments for several FBA (Amazon Clients)
7. Updating new client bookings in shared drives with pricing
8. Looking after key accounts
9. Raising invoices
10. Managing direct client accounts
11. Ensuring customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with our policies and procedures
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
1. Excellent attention to detail
2. Mandarin speaking
3. 2 years general forwarding experience
4. Strong administration skills
5. Works well in a team environment
6. Good Microsoft Office Package experience
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
In return, our client offers a basic salary of £35,000 per annum (depending on experience).
