Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team, teaching Year 4 and Year 5 students. The successful candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, committed to delivering high-quality lessons, and helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of Year 4 and Year 5 students.
* Classroom Management: Establish a positive, respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe, motivated, and encouraged to succeed.
* Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Implement effective strategies to support both high achievers and students who need additional help.
* Differentiation: Tailor lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and needs.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, specialists, and school leadership to ensure the holistic development of students. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
* Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns. Prepare reports as required.
* Behaviour and Welfare: Promote a positive and respectful school culture, addressing any behavioural issues with a focus on support and guidance.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications: A recognized teaching qualification.
* Experience: Experience teaching Primary Year 4 and Year 5 students or a similar age group is preferred, but not essential.
* Skills:
o Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment practices.
o Ability to differentiate lessons for a range of abilities.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
