The Role
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be involved in a wide variety of surveying and project management tasks. Working closely with senior professionals, you will develop technical expertise and gain valuable experience in all aspects of building surveying.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in contract administration and project management for construction and refurbishment projects.
2. Conducting measured surveys and preparing technical drawings and reports.
3. Supporting feasibility studies, defect analysis, and building pathology assessments.
4. Contributing to the preparation of specifications, tenders, and professional reports.
5. Assisting with Party Wall matters, schedules of condition, and dilapidations.
6. Managing project documentation and providing support to the wider surveying team.
Who We're Looking For
This role is ideal for a graduate looking to gain practical experience and work towards professional accreditation. The successful candidate will have:
1. A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
5. An eagerness to develop professionally and work towards chartered status (MRICS).
