As we continue to expand with exciting growth plans for 2025/26, we need a dedicated People Advisor to support our organisation, managing HR across 9 sites and circa 320 colleagues. This is an essential role that will require a proactive, solution-focused HR professional who can take full ownership and drive our people agenda forward. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a People Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for managers and team leaders, offering expert advice and support across a wide range of HR issues. You’ll be responsible for managing and improving HR processes, ensuring that policies and procedures are up to date, and providing continuous coaching and support to managers. This is a hands-on role where you will: Advise managers and leaders on HR matters including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working, and compliance. Coach, mentor, and develop managers on key HR topics such as supervision, appraisals, and performance management. Assist in the recruitment process, support employer branding, and play an active role in enhancing colleague engagement across the organisation. Help digitalise HR processes to streamline data management and improve efficiency, enabling us to meet future goals. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions for all new and departing employees. Manage employee relations casework, identifying key trends, flagging concerns, and producing insightful reports for senior leadership. Monitor and improve well-being initiatives, developing guides to support mental health, stress, burnout, and other employee support areas. You’ll be working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, driving initiatives and improvements across the business. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that we meet CQC requirements and deliver best HR practices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 3 years of experience as an HR Advisor or Generalist in a fast-paced environment. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards). Strong HR experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to employee relations. The ability to work independently and deliver results while supporting a wide variety of HR tasks across multiple sites. Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a proven track record of supporting managers and teams to drive engagement and performance. A solid understanding of employment law and best practices, particularly in regulated sectors like healthcare.
