The role requires performing service visits to customer calls, ensuring a professional service is supplied, and adapting to evolving product needs. This position involves responding to repair requests, diagnosing and resolving faults, performing preventative maintenance, and installing equipment. Additionally, the candidate will update customers about completed work and any further work required, provide guidance and training, and manage car stocks to an acceptable level to ensure a 1st time fix and customer satisfaction.
Product training will be supplied via Manufacturer or at our Training centre based in Lincoln.
Duties include:
* To carry out service visits and Preventative Maintenance Calls. The successful candidate will establish and promote the attributes of a professional service support operation and adapt and develop service requirements in line with changes in products and functionality.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and establish effective repairs through adjustment, cleaning, or replacement of spare parts.
* Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations from service management.
* Inform the customer on the work carried out and gain acceptance to the machine's condition and performance following the service work completed.
* Carry out the installation of equipment sold by the company and ensure the machine performs to the customer's satisfaction.
* Look for opportunities to enhance customer guidance and training so they can achieve the best results from the equipment and avoid operator faults.
* Manage an effective car stock of spare parts and consumables.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break (40 hours per week).

Experience and Skills Required:
* It is essential that you have worked as an engineer on MFD printers.
* IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and to set up scanning functions.
* The ability to provide first-class customer service with previous customer-facing experience.
* Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
