Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join this mechanical contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of domestic & commercial plumbing systems and be able to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nThe work consists of shopfitting, care home extensions, sports pavilions, day centres and activity centres.
We require a well versed Plumber who is comfortable with both domestic and commercial projects. Applicants must be willing to work away on a regular basis.\n\nDuties\n\n * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.\n\n * Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.\n\n * Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.\n\n * Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.\n\n * Progress into a supervisor role.\n\n * Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.\n\n * Be willing to work away on a weekly basis with hotels and meal allowance paid for by the company.\n\nExperience\n\n * Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter or Commercial Plumber.\n\n * Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.\n\n * A valid driving licence.\n\n * Shopfitting/Healthcare/Leisure experience will be an advantage but not essential.\n\nAdditional pay:\n\n * Loyalty bonus\n\n * Performance bonus\n\n * Travel, accommodation and allowances paid\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Company car\n\n * Company pension\n\n * Employee mentoring programme\n\n * Free parking\n\n * On-site parking\n\n * Private medical insurance\n\nSchedule:\n\n * Monday to Friday\n\n * Weekend availability\n\nIf you are an experienced Plumber with a passion for quality work, we want to hear from you!
