Our esteemed client, a well-established GP practice in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Manager to join their team of 40 dedicated professionals, consisting of medical and administrative staff.

As the Practice Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the practice, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
* Staff Management: Leading the recruitment, training, and development of staff. You will manage rotas, conduct performance reviews, and address any HR issues that arise.
* Operational Management: Ensuring the practice runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This includes managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Patient Relations: Handling patient complaints and feedback, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction. You will also work on improving patient services and implementing new initiatives.
* Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to improve practice efficiency and patient care. You will work closely with the GP partners to set goals and monitor progress.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience: Proven experience in management, preferably within a GP practice or similar setting, although other industries like retail, manufacturing etc. are also beneficial.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage the diverse responsibilities of the role.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complex situations and make informed decisions.
* IT Proficiency: Proficiency in using practice management software and other relevant IT systems.
