Graduate Management Trainee – Quantity Surveyor
Are you a graduate looking to start a career as a Construction Quantity Surveyor?
We are looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveying Trainee to join our Wales and the South West Team. The ideal candidate will have studied a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and be willing to be based in Exeter or the close surrounding area.
As part of our trainee programme, you will focus on quantity surveying but will also complete placements within other departments in our business including site management, design management and other areas of pre-construction to give you exposure of the construction process from start to finish. This provides you with broad construction experience and will help support you with your career in the future. You will get experience of delivering projects across multiple sectors and will work in a hybrid way from our office in Exeter and across sites in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
We are looking for candidates with a construction related or transferable degree, along with those who are passionate to start a career in construction. Our 2- or 3-year programme will give you the valuable work experience that will enable you to progress into an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have strong numeracy skills.
* Be Analytical.
* Be commercially aware.
Requirements
You will be studying for or already hold a degree qualification and be able to start in September 2025.

Next Steps
The trainee position at Willmott Dixon will start in September 2025 and the application closing date will be 10th of March. Shortlisting will take place after and final assessment centre set to take place in March/April. As part of the application process, you will be asked to answer some of our questions via video recording.
