Job Description Regional Quality Manager - Civil Engineering Glasgow £55,000-£65,000 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance across major civil engineering sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality management and possess extensive experience in the civil engineering or rail industry. Responsibilities Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across multiple civil engineering sites Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays Collaborate with project managers and staff to communicate quality objectives and provide necessary training Analyse data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into quality processes Qualifications A quality management qualification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) is required Proven experience in quality assurance within the civil engineering or rail industry Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities to address quality issues effectively Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools for quality management Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
