Pay rate: £39,762 to £44,208 per annum,* including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate

What we are looking for:
We are looking for experienced, nurturing and dedicated individuals, who can provide an outstanding level of childcare and allow our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.
Our Assessments Home is a two-bed service proving immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £13.30 to £15.20 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night)
Essential requirements for a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker:
* A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
* A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
* A Full driving licence issued in the UK
* A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
* Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
* Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)
* Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
* Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
