Clearing & Payments department supports the bank in a back office capacity, supporting the bank’s operational processing for various banking product, working with retail branches and Front office teams to support London Branch and Subsidiary customers. As an Assistant Clearing Middle Office, you will be responsible for handling the clearing and payments administration work related to Vostro, Nostro, EMIR reconciliation and BGL SWIFT RMA Management. This is a full time permanent position. Key responsibilities Collaborate with the team in order to ensure all the clearing middle office work is processed correctly and with high satisfaction Ensure all clearing and payment work follows the Bank guidelines and policy Responsible for the payment relevant BGL monitoring, Vostro account management handling, Nostro reconciliation, MI, EMIR reconciliation, system user management, VPN management, assets management assistant, relevant system testing and implementation Resolve any issues that arise in daily operations and OSIT implementation Investigate and resolve operational issues when needed Prepare business requirements for new functions and new systems Requirements Degree educated in Business, Accounting, Finance or other equivalent Experience within financial services industry or proven track record in similar business Knowledge of SWIFT payments and Retail Banking payments processing is preferred A fast learner who is adaptable to changes Report drafting skills Problem solving skills Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills Team player Good attention to details Highly organised
