What you will do in your working day
The Marketing Team at EEM is a fast-paced, creative, and fun place to work. You will be working alongside the Senior Marketing Executive and a Marketing Officer, both of whom have completed the L3 course with DBC Training, meaning you will be fully supported throughout your apprenticeship.
This role will teach you various aspects of marketing, including graphic design, email marketing, social media, website management, SEO, brand management, campaign planning, data analytics, event management and more.
Your natural skills and interests will be explored and nurtured to ensure you enjoy the course and find it beneficial for your personal and professional growth.
* Graphic design - Make use of design software (primarily Canva) to assist with the creation and maintenance of all printed and digital material such as social media and website content, brochures, leaflets, news articles, banners, backdrops and signage, in line with company branding guidelines.
* Video editing: Assist in the creation of video content that showcases EEM and the services we offer.
* Written content - Assist with writing engaging content for various purposes, ensuring that all information is accurate and relevant.
* Website management: Assist with basic website management and design, including regular checks to ensure information is accurate and relevant.
* Email marketing: Support email marketing campaigns including the planning, design, set up and execution. The role will also include managing our contact database through our CRM system.
* Event management: Assist with the organisation and promotion of events held by EEM including our annual awards ceremony, training seminars, workshops and conferences. Assist with marketing materials when EEM is hosting a stand at other exhibitions and events.
* Data Analysis: Collate and review analytic reports to assess the impact of marketing campaigns.
* Building relationships: Develop relationships with EEM Members and Supply Chain to identify good news stories and case studies.
* Charity fundraising and voluntary activities: Opportunities to support communities and charities through events and activities such as charity walks, fun days, volunteering, foodbank collections etc
* Any other related marketing-related tasks

Candidates must have:
* Some prior work experience in any professional environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting information logically and concisely in ways that promote understanding.

* Ability or willingness to use graphic design tools (Canva and Adobe programmes).
* Good IT skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to prioritise, plan and organise day to day activities ensuring efficient and effective performance.

The training you will be getting
* In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ 3 Multi Channel Marketer qualification, which will help start your career and give you an insight into the business processes and procedures.
* Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7.
* You receive 20% off the job training during this apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours.

We envision this apprenticeship as a pathway to a long term career at EEM. Successful apprentices who deliver a strong performance and who are a good fit with our team will be consdiered for a full time role upon completion of the apprenticeship.
