Finance Director | Permanent | £60-70k | Burton on Trent
We are proudly recruiting on behalf of our client based in the heart of Burton on Trent, specialising in the manufacturing of fire doors. We are seeking a people-driven, hard-working, and reliable Finance Director that thrives in accounting!
Working Monday to Friday 9am-4:30pm based at their head office in Burton on Trent, you will be responsible for managing a team of two.
What our client is looking for:
1. Previous experience within a senior Finance Management position or previous Director level
2. Extensive knowledge and experience within all aspects of accounting
3. Finance qualifications
4. Experience of using Sage software
5. Someone with a full clean driving licence - as very limited travel may be required to management meetings
6. Hard working, punctual and reliable work ethic
7. Supportive & encouraging management style
8. Confidence in leading and overseeing numbers and relaying information to other department managers
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Steer the finance team for an industrial business that specialise in fire doors
2. General invoicing for the business
3. Finance administration
4. Finance management and reporting (monthly, quarterly & annually)
5. End of year reconciliation
6. Budgeting and forecasting
7. Cash flow management
8. Internal compliance and controls
9. Attending board meetings when required by the business
10. Overseeing carbon footprint data
11. Charing accounts meetings and catch-ups
12. HR responsibilities
13. Health and safety paperwork
14. Team leadership and development
