Role Responsibilities: - Manage the environmental management system to ISO14001 standards, including maintaining the Aspects & Impacts Register and certification. - Conduct internal training on EHS topics, ensuring compliance with ISO14001 and other best practices. - Monitor waste, energy, water, and effluent releases, identifying opportunities for improvement. - Support internal HSE auditing, including conducting audits and maintaining a schedule for ISO14001. - Respond to customer and regulator requests for sustainability and environmental data. - Develop methods for carbon foot printing and monitor Scope 1-3 emissions in line with Net Zero goals. - Maintain and review the environmental legal register, ensuring compliance with legislation. - Assist with health and safety policy implementation and support the monitoring of KPIs for health and safety. Qualifications and Skills: - Degree in an environmental discipline or equivalent professional qualifications, with at least one year of experience in an environmental compliance role. - NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification. - ISO Internal Auditor training/experience is desirable. - Ability to deliver training and motivate staff towards environmental and sustainability initiatives. - Strong administration skills and time management. - Proficiency in IT to support and enhance HSE performance. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
