Description:
This client is a UK Market leader in the manufacturing of semi-finished products and finishes parts, complete assemblies, and precision profiles from high performance plastics. Their name in quality allows this client to work with several industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Formula 1.
This role includes the retention of existing accounts, the development of accounts, telephone sales, processing of sales orders and all basic office duties.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, proactive, conscientious, and flexible with a high level of customer care.
Main duties of the role:
1. Ability to work well under pressure, good with figures, establish good customer relations, provide quotations for materials, negotiating on price when necessary to secure future orders.
2. To respond to enquiries from customers by phone and email; following up to obtain orders.
3. Processing of sales orders.
4. To develop existing accounts through regular contact and utilise any quieter periods to contact dormant accounts.
5. Work closely with internal Sales and Warehouse staff across other branches and Head Office to offer the best service for customers.
6. Ensuring the customer is completely satisfied with the service offered, including the materials/goods are supplied correctly and to specification.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
7. Internal B2B sales experience.
8. Customer service skills.
9. Previous experience of providing quotations within a B2B role will be advantageous to your application.
