Do you have what it takes to lead a large-scale transformation programme? As the Theatre Productivity Improvement Programme Lead, you will enhance theatre productivity and efficiency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and safety within agreed performance and financial objectives.
We must transform our theatre services, and we know, it’s going to be a real challenge - we need somebody who wants to make a true difference to our productivity and improvement. You’ll need drive, passion, experience and tenacity.
What you'll do:
1. Lead a large-scale transformation programme to improve theatre productivity and efficiency.
2. Coordinate and deliver improvement projects across the elective patient surgical pathway.
3. Engage and empower staff, fostering a culture of compassionate and inclusive leadership.
4. Use change management methodologies and programme management to drive improvement.
5. Report progress to the Divisional Senior Management Team and produce formal monthly reports.
6. Work collaboratively with clinical services, divisional management, and operational teams.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
We are currently rated GOOD by the CQC.
