Seniority Level: Salary- £ 36,428.83 Shift - 4 on 4 off, 2 days followed by 2 nights Primary purpose and function of position: These shift-based roles report to the Logistics First Line Manager (“FLM”). You will be part of a multi-skilled team, responsible for coordinating the service of the Packaging lines, the (un)loading of vehicles, housekeeping and the day-to-day running of the Logistics operation. Key Tasks: Responsibilities To effectively coordinate the flow of work (full beer and dry goods) from the Brewery Operation (“BOPs”), through the warehouse, to our customer. To effectively coordinate product and materials using Fork Lift Trucks (“FLT”) to and from Packaging lines. To coordinate the assembly, load and unload of vehicles in a safe manner, to the correct standard, ensuring that all documentation (including computer inputs) are completed in a timely fashion and to the correct standard. To deliver the sustained implementation of agreed Voyager Plant Optimisation (“VPO”) ways of working. Key Tasks: Accountabilities To monitor and maintain stock accuracy and housekeeping standards. To ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety requirements (including food safety). To monitor and maintain all departmental and Company Key Performance Indicators (“KPI”) including Customer Service Level. To ensure all customer / supplier returns are accurately recorded. To coach and train agency and temporary staff to follow and understand agreed procedures in relation to the Logistics operations. To carry out any reasonable task as directed. Ensure 5S standards are maintained. To understand and fully embed VPO with their role Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: General Certificate of Secondary Education (“GCSE”) Maths and English, or equivalent. Computer Literate (basic Microsoft Excel and Word). Understand the workload and good warehouse practices (i.e. First In, First Out [“FIFO”], etc.). Coordinate daily workload / work flows. Communicate ideas and work with minimal leadership to a high standard. Resilience to continue to drive for superior (sustainable) results. Lead by example. Experience in an FMCG Logistics environment. Good Mathematical background. Proven ability to learn. Effective team player, with the ability to coordinate and communicate within teams. FLT driving experience (ideally, Road Transport Industry Training Board [“RTITB”] approved). Experience with coordinating an operational team. Warehouse Management System (“WMS”) experience essential.
