We provide practical trauma-informed training and organisational development which equips frontline workers with the concrete skills they need to help people affected by psychological trauma.

About the Role:
Rock Pool are an ambitious company seeking to increase the impact we have in the UK and potentially beyond. We have been working for the past six months with a marketing agency helping us put in place marketing strategies and processes. The time has now come for us to appoint our first in-house Senior Marketing Executive. This role is advertised on a 12 month fixed term contract, salary ranging from £30,000 - £40,000 DOE pro rata for 22.5 hours per week.
The Senior Marketing Executive is a critical part of a small team, supporting the CEO and Sales Team as well as working closely with the Operations Team. This role is responsible for creating a wider brand awareness for Rock Pool as well as increasing leads for new business. This role involves collaborating with the Rock Pool team and external agencies, to create and deliver marketing communications that promotes our brand, reputation, and services across online and offline channels:
* Manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
* Create awareness of and develop the brand.
* Develop and implement a marketing strategy (often as part of a wider sales and marketing programme).
* Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used, and campaigns are effective.
* Creating and posting blog posts and articles on the company’s website and social media pages.
* Preparing coherent marketing campaign reports using data analysis tools.
* Managing the marketing database and email distribution.
* Drafting marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters and posters.
* Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns.
* Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts for a range of audiences.
* Manage the upkeep of our internal Rock Pool website.
* Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
* Monitor competitor activities and find leads for the company.
* Liaise with printers and other suppliers.
Person Specification:
This person needs to be a self-starter, with excellent time management skills, creativity and drive. The Senior Marketing Executive will need to have had experience in all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to social media, graphic design, copywriting, email marketing, writing blogs and updating content on the website.
* A minimum of three years marketing experience, ideally with a formal marketing qualification.
* Able to create a marketing plan for the company and set deadlines.
* Experience of using brand guidelines to create brand synergy across all communications.
* Intermediate experience of design packages including Canva and Adobe.
* Experience working with a CRM system to manage customer data.
* Working knowledge of Mailchimp – design, copy and database management.
* Ability to update website via CMS, adding blogs and general maintenance.
* Experience managing social media accounts via Meta including Facebook and Instagram as well as LinkedIn.
* Experience of Google Analytics and Google Ads.
* Knowledge of creating presentation documents including PowerPoint.
* Editing skills for videos, creating reels, managing YouTube channel.
* Good copywriting skills with experience of writing blogs, press releases, email marketing newsletters and updating web copy.
* Ability to manage their own time to deliver on deadlines and work well under pressure.
* A good approach to teamwork and the ability to work within a team environment.
* Commitment to work in the office (Brixham) at least one day a week.
* Attend regular meetings with the office team.
* Knowledge of the sector would be advantageous, but is not compulsory.
