Maintenance Compliance Administrator

Hours: 35 hours plus 1 hour paid lunch break

Who we are looking for?
We are searching for a Compliance Coordinator who will work as part of Nacro's property compliance team, which deals with the administration of gas safety, electrical safety, and fire safety checks, dealing with any remedial actions required.
This role will focus on gas safety, including the ordering of gas safety checks and raising orders with contractors and local Nacro teams for remedial tasks/works to be carried out. The role will involve communications with a wide range of individuals.
You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate database of the status of all properties, works ordered, and outstanding, producing reports as required.
We are looking for an individual with excellent administration and communication skills who is well-organised and assertive.
While it is desirable that the individual has some knowledge, training will be given. You will also need to be confident with Excel spreadsheets and have an excellent aptitude for detail.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Liaising with landlords/building owners to ensure that they fully meet their agreed responsibilities and provide copies of certification as required.
2. Ensuring that follow-up repairs and maintenance are ordered and completed in a timely manner, collating this information, and providing reports as required.
3. Liaising with scheme managers where the contractor reports access issues.
4. Ensuring that repairs carried out by contractors and partner agencies are regularly monitored, tracked, and that any delays are investigated promptly.
5. Supporting the Compliance Officer to ensure that periodic gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety, asbestos, and legionella checks and requirements are 100% compliant at all Nacro-owned properties.
