About the role…
Do you have a strong enthusiasm for local democracy and public service? West Oxfordshire District Council is seeking a dedicated Democratic Services Officer to join our vibrant Democratic Services team. This role is crucial in ensuring our Council operates smoothly and effectively, delivering exceptional service to elected members and the public.
Role Highlights:
1. Facilitate Meetings: Ensure the seamless operation of Council, Executive, committee, sub-committee, and member working group meetings.
2. Provide Expertise: Offer technical advice and support to officers and members, including the publication of reports and agendas.
3. Engage the Public: Take minutes, host webcast meetings, and contribute to increasing public engagement with our democratic processes.
